Just didn't want to let this one slip through the cracks.
I just re-read my previous post after letting it sit for a week. I find myself way too amusing!
Don't let that stop anyone from tackling this one, though. I still stand behind it.

I find I agree with your statements on truth. We cannot know the entire "Truth", for to do so would make us omniscient and umm.....God.
However, to bring things back to earth again...God has created within us enough capacity to comprehend enough Truth in order to cause us to undergo something completely against our own nature (that only HE could accomplish):to save us eternally.
And at the end of all things, isn't that what "truly" matters?
I don't think I ever left the earth with this one. Yes, it is enough to know that we have access to salvation, but that seems to be just a starting point. I want more. I want to understand and appreciate what it is that God has created and put in place. As I have stated in the original email discussions, I am not satisfied with a "for the Bible tells me so" answer. I think we short change ourselves if we stop there. Yes, Jesus loves me. But why? Part of this questioning requires trying to figure out an epistimology. How can we truly understand the morals and ethics we hold on to as Christians if we don't try to understand what Truth is in the first place? If God is the "be all to end all," then He can certainly withstand my questioning of Him. As long as I go into it with the knowlege that any disagreements are my failings and that I will never completely figure things out, then I do not feel this form of skepticism poses a problem.
